Workplace Manual Handling Training Bendigo
My manual handling training sessions are not generic powerpoint presentations that just explain how you should lift a box safely. After ten years as a Workplace Physiotherapist, I can safety say that such generic training sessions are a waste of time and are actually more likely to cause workplace injuries, not prevent them.

Why is this?

Effective manual handling training needs to address two factors:
Firstly, the training needs to teach your employees how to safely and efficiently perform the specific tasks that they perform on a day-to-day basis at work. This requires a tailored manual handling training session, not a generic session.
And secondly, to prevent workplace injuries, the most important part of any manual handling training sessions is education, education, education! To prevent injuries from occurring, your employees need an understanding of how injuries develop and what physical signs to look out for in the body that may indicate an injury is about to occur.
